Hey all, Tonka has talked me into trying another hang soon and since I may make a habit of it - I thought I'd better join the forum. I attended the Hoosier Hang with him last year and had a great time other than dealing with the painkillers I was on because of back issues. Completely off the meds now and hope to attend again this year possibly. Tonka is a great friend and donated a pack to me and now I'm in the process of trying to fill it. With all the choices out there it should be fun... I'll be looking for an underquilt soon as this really seems to be the key to a comfortable hang. I used his LeighLo quilt last time and loved it. Unfortunately she's on hiatus right now so may not have one for the Hoosier Hang. May have to get a stormcrow - which I am SURE I would be happy with as well. Anyway, looking forward to getting out there again this year and hope to see some of you there again this year as well. ttys.

Nice to meet you markr6. There are a few of us from Fort Wayne on here. Tonka and HomeMadeHiker are friends of mine. They have some experience hanging so I'm sure they would be happy to put their .02 worth if you have questions.

I may be able to help you out with a Loaner tarp. I have a Huge guide gear own the way. or I still have the little Hex fly from my Hennessey. Just let me know.
Also you might still be able to grab a Guide gear tarp on the cheap if you hurry.
