Hi all. Just wanted to start by saying that I am excited about my new hammock. Haven't set it up yet; actually, I haven't even recieved it in the mail yet, but I am still really excited. From what I have heard, once you go hammock, you never go back. I have purchased a Hennesy Explorer Asym Zip from MEC because I wanted a light solution to a tent. Tarp and bivy setups were to costly, and tents weighed to much, then I stumbled upon hammocks. I can't wait to actually set it up and sleep in it. There are still a few more weeks of colder tempuratures up here in the Great White North, so I should have an answer to my insulation questions shortly. Anyhow, thanks to Shug for inadvertantly pointing me towards hammock forums, I was watching his Youtube channel and saw the ad. I hope to learn a lot about hanging, and hope that my hammock will keep me warm and dry out there in the bush. Thanks....
