WBBB on it's way, want to make a RL organizer. If I make it one piece is it easy enough to be able to slide it on or would I be better off making one with velcro straps to hang?

Unless you want to undo one of the whipped ends to thread it onto your RL, you would be better off making it removable from the get-go.
I slid mine on, the ridge line can be pulled through and pushed back through the gathered end. At least mine could when I added the organiser and whoopies.
I have a velcro so I can you it on other hammocks but you can pull it back though the hole in the whipped end. Its trick to guide it back through, dont use any thing sharp.
I've used velcro but I also use two loops at each end and hang with a couple of prussiks.

Thanks guys, I will make it removable for now.
You can make one from scratch, or modify one like I did. Removeable works well.
Got the Eureka mesh gear loft from Campmor.

Put a peice of ACU ripstop inside it.
Used some grosgrain to make the center pieces with loops on the top, and to make each one into 2 pockets on each side.
And I use a couple of the mini-carabiners like they have in the HF store to clip it on.
Made 2 RL organizers with 4 pockets each.

+1 on this. We use two loops on each corner and tighten out with prussiks. This you can easily remove to pack or unpack what items you need in it without having to mess with getting the hammock out and ridge line off. K.I.S.S
Since my son hates the organizer, I'm just going to reuse/multi purpose his stuff sacks as per this thread and video on post number 5 so that he can keep them entirely out of his way http://www.hammockforums.net/forum/s...ghlight=gutter
I know the nice thing about the WBBB is that the ridgeline isn't right over you (based on the asym shape). But why would you need a RL organizer when the WBBB already has the awesome shelf? The only thing I hang on my RL is my Nite-Ize http://shop.whoopieslings.com/Nite-I...6.qscstrfrnt06 light (awesome unit, bright, rugged, functional, cheap...) and sometimes my glasses.
