    Karo Step quilt help.

Maybe I chewed to many lead paint chips as a child,..I have read every post and link I can find and for the life of me cannot understand how to sew top layer of fabric to baffle once they are attached to bottom. Could some one explain it so even I can understand it?

    Sew one edge seam.

Once the 1st edge seam is sewn, roll up the fabric side that does not have the baffles sewn to it yet. Place that roll on the shelf in your sewing machine between the needle and the upright. That fabric should be under the needle next to the sewn edge. The fabric side that already has the baffles sewn to it, should be spread out on the table way from the needle.

Then pick up a baffle nearest to the needle and sew it to that other side.
Start sewing the baffles in one corner and work your way across one side, then go to the next row, etc.

I'm very happy that my post made sense to you. As I was typing it, it didn't make ANY sense to me!
