I want to thank all those that have placed orders or contacted me regarding possible orders. Amazing response and business so far, as with all small companies that experience rapid growth the growing pains are setting in. I'm at capacity considering my current working environment. I'm in the process of looking for a suitable shop to house the business to include quilts, tarps, and other related accessories. Tarps are in the works, designs are done and proto types are made, just need to secure reliable source for silnylon at a reasonable cost to keep tarps competitive and afforadble.
My goal is to have this accomplished within the next two to three months and make the move to a new shop that will have the space to work more efficiently. Until then, lead times may run a little bit longer than I would prefer but I don't want to rush production and create quality issues. If you need a quilt quicker that 3-4 weeks please contact me to discuss details. I will do all humanly possible to make that happen for you but will also be realistic with shipping commitments. I'm a firm believer in honesty and getting in front of problems before they occur. I believe that this is the right attitude to have when it comes to communication and customer service.
I also need a break from time to time to recharge the batteries, while I really enjoy making gear as I have an overwhelming need to be productive I also need to get to the woods every once in a while. I'm planning on attending the Hoosier Hang mid April so any orders placed between now and then will be scheduled for production upon my return.
Again, thank you to everyone for the amazing first three months in business, thanks for everyones patience and I look forward to providing many more members with great products in the coming years. There are some well respected cottage industry companies here on the forum and I hope, with time, to gain the same respect from the forum through great products and great customer service.
