I did a schpritz on my hammock and on the Tyvek Scout The Wonder dog slept on. Ddn't have any roblems while i was in the hammock. Liberal use of DEET at other times worked well, too.

Alan had the most trouble with skeeters because, well, he's good.

Anyone that digs TVZ is okay in my book. That Spam thing is worrisome, though...

    Great report!

Sometimes I shmear MRE cheese spread on it. Kinda helps keep it together, like spackling compound or grout or sumpin.

I had promised Cash Kieth Spam for breakfast, but he slept in that morning and missed out. Mebbe after seeing the pics he dont feel so bad.

Great report! An idea for traveling mayo ~ When you go to fast food joints ask for mayo when you ask for ketchup for your fries. Pocket the Mayo packets and put them aside for your trips. My kid eats both on her fries so we normally keep the extras for camping and such.

Now that was a great write up of what looks like a great time.

I'm sorry I missed out. Hopefully I'll be on dry land for the next hang in the area.

    Beef with Spice Sauce

    Hey Sarge

Did love them C-Rats. Loved Beef with Spice Sauce or the Eggs and Ham cans heated in the Canteen cup with my coffee water.

The Mountain House Beef and Chicken Stews seem to taste just like the old LRRPs. Wish I could find a stash of those cornflake bars.

MRE crackers go with everything and love the peanut butter and cheese packs.

A site to find out how old those MREs are http://www.mreinfo.com/

    Pete
