    New member from NC

Hi, I recently joined the forum. I live in Vale, NC. I am just about 30 minutes from South Mountain State Park, and about a little more than an hour from the linville gorge. I am new to hammocks but not new to hiking or camping, fishing, semi retired from hunting.I would like to outfit with a hammock and very light backpacking system and try them out in the gorgethru the summer and prep for a 4day-3night trip down the linville river gorge area. I am glad to be around other avid naturists. I am looking forward to eventually get to know everyone.

No, Groundhog i did not make it to the gorge saturday. I will be up there some this summer. I have to get my gear lined out , trying to make the transition from more car camping to backpacking farther in .
