    Question Jabbh

In my last thread I had 61-views and no response to "how many folks used a Clark North America w/XL-tarp for backpacking on the "AT"?

Soooooo, how many folks are using a Jacks Are Better Bridge Hammock for long-distance backpacking????? Are you happy

My long distance hangs are generally less than 5 miles.
Love my JRB bridge. Best hammock I've ever used.

To let you know your question was viewed, and considered, I'll post a reply...

I do not own an off the shelf hammock or tarp. All of mine (and they are too numerous to count now) are homemade.

I have used one of these sets on multiple week long AT hikes. And, will continue to use this set for future hikes, unless... I make something better, or... one of these poop out. Something better has a high bar to clear. Me and my fave hammock are tight!

I've got a Clark NA and a JRB BMB (among others,) but have never used either on the AT. I'm a canoeist mainly, not much of a hiker, and I'm a long way from the AT. I like my Clark NA and will never part with it, and am considering selling my BMB. Any offers?

It might be better to start a separate thread and tell us what you'd take for it. I'd be interested, at the right price. (I don't even know what to offer you for it).

Yeah, I'm still debating whether or not I want to keep it and mod it or not. My initial reaction was that it was very comfortable, but it's just a little too narrow for me, and for some reason I get a lot of sag. What to do?????

On topic, I don't see a lot of response to the original question.

I did 60 miles in my BMB over 5 nights plus two more nights tagged onto the end at the spring MAHHA hang.

If all goes well I may do the 100 mile length of Shenandoah September.

I love the BRB, quick setup, great nights sleep. No complaints at all.
