    Ridgeline basics?

I understand the purpose of the ridgeline, but not the basic set up. Attach a line between the ends of the hammock. Is there a tightener knot in there somewhere? Can it be adjusted while in the hammock?

Some are adjustable and some are not. I tend to use my adjustable ones (a long whoopie sling) to help me set up the size I want. Check out whoopieslings.com and see some of what they have.

Thanks for posting that link Shug. Not sure how I missed Jeff's pages before. Now I have another several hours of reading to do!
