Cakes, that's hilarious! Reminds me of an old Red Skelton skit, and that's the best humor of all!

I can bring some fire wood, but it would be good if at least one other person could bring some as well.
Please keep this in mind if you are considering bringing fire wood.
The Emerald Ash Borer is a problem insect & efforts are being made to prevent it's further spread.
This link will take you to a site were you can see various maps & detailed info for your area.
Fire wood should not be transported from these areas.

It's a long way to the top if you want to Rock and Roll ----- those hills!!!
Professional Prevaricator: Part-time dealer in Yarns, Tales, Half-Truths, & Outright Lies -1st half-hour session at no cost (Lawyers and Doctors excepted).
Pudden and I will not be able to attend.
I am going with my wife to Charleston for the weekend.
A couple questions were asked of me by PM & I decided to answer them here in the planning thread as well.
Distance from parking area to camp?
There is limited parking less than 50' from the closest edge of the group site.
It's possible we may have enough cars that a few will need to drop off their stuff at camp, take their car to a different parking area & have one of our HF campers shuttle them back to camp.
What to bring?... just what you need to sleep, stay warm & dry.
A yard chair would be good.
Every one will provide their own food except for any group meals that are planned. I think there is a group breakfast & a group supper being planned.
See the spread sheets at the bottom of the 1st post of this planning thread to sign up for anything you might want to add to the group meals.
Lunch can be purchased at the Fall Festival for those that choose to do so.
Also, bring cash for any raffle tickets you might want to buy.
Because we are not having to pay for the group site this year (because we are doing the Hammock Demo) we have decided to sell raffle tickets for $5 instead of $10.
So you can get twice as many tickets (& chances to win) with the same amount of cash you were planning to spend on the raffle
