Now the not so good news. Checking the weather today, looks like isolated thunderstorms for Friday thru Sunday. A few prayers for fair weather would be appreciated.

I thought isolated thunderstorms were just an opportunity to test some gear!

    True!!!

But DivaB wanted a dry weekend. And I'd like to see the ponies without rain, fog, clouds, wind, and snow for a change.

mmm, ya, heard about that last trip...and I agree with DivaB!

Anyway, looks like the Saturday forecast is 'improving' since checking it last night - if this site can be believed...
Maybe those showers will move on through sooner rather than later.

Oh no!!! 58% Friday and 60% Saturday thunder storms Darn it!!!

SlowHike: do you have the link to the complete address of the park? I just want to make sure I put the correct one in the GPS.

Forgot to also ask; is the water at the pump OK to drink or do we need to bring water in. I was thinking there was a water issue this year, but I don't have the time to back through the 20 pages and try to find out if it is ok now or not.

We had enough rain at last years hang. I believe the water was OK, the problem was a shortage of water. I checked the web site and found nothing about water issues

It looks like it'll just be me and D1 coming in Sat midday instead of the whole crew. This week has been hectic at work for the Mrs, and trying to get out of here on Friday would be too stressful for us. So one night will have to do this time. It'll be a shorter weekend for us, but I think it'll end up being more enjoyable. See ya'll soon.

Aww, I'll really miss the rest of the crew. And I'm bringing Sam' and know how the girls love her. But we'll all get together another time soon.
