Az Backpack Barbershop Loop?

Did it happen? Was there a trip report posted?
Sorry I missed it. I'm a newb and would really like to go on a campout and hang with folks who know what they're doing. I could use some mentoring on hammock camping, since I just got my hammock and haven't hung it yet.

EdD270, I'm wanting to do the same. I'll be in Idaho during my next break between grad courses but the one after that will be the weekend of August 17th. If you want, we could plan an easy trip and maybe convince one or more of these veterans to come along. I haven't camped much in AZ and don't yet have the gear for hiking so I'm little help planning a location, but I was reading about last fall's AZ Hang at Pumphouse Wash and hope to go there someday. I put the links to those two threads below.

Howdy Gnome77 and SamuelJD Glad ya'll are still at it in AZ. I have moved to near Sopchoppy, Florida, and not far from the Florida Trail in Wallkula County.

Thanks for the links, Nojope. I've not been on this forum long, and haven't yet found much about Arizona hangers. I don't have very strong google-fu with the search button.
I'm looking forward to a group hand out with someone who knows what they're doing, so I can maybe learn to get my hammock properly hung and enjoy it.
