It's an old concept actually. The Speer PeaPod has been around for years.
The GT version isn't wide enough to allow a diagonal lay without being cramped.

I'm wondering if the weight is comparable to a TQ and UQ or is it heavier. It's definitely cheaper than the cost of two quilts and compared to what I'm currently bring with, easier to setup.

I didn't have the funds to get new gear like this when I started Hammock Camping so I made my own Hammock sleeping bag of sorts. You can check it out herehttp://http://backpackgear.blogspot....njoy-camp.html, it is a type of sleeve or peapod but I just used the sleeping bag I had. http://backpackgear.blogspot.com/
Plugging your blog right from the first post, huh?

I have definitely seen this before in homemade versions, but I actually met the guy who's design this is. His name is Harrick. He works at the local Blue Sky, and we met at the rock gym. I'm not impressed with the fact that it's only a 32 degree(F) bag.
http://ak2.ostkcdn.com/images/products/P14155413.jpgI just saw this on overstock.com and cam on here to see if anyone posted it yet. It looks heavy to me. http://www.overstock.com/Sports-Toys...2/product.html
