Seconding this. PMs can be clarification or other offers and "I'll take it" or "dibs" will trump that. Glad it all worked out.

Yes, it worked out, sort of. Sending a PM is NOT the same as saying "I'll take it". A PM may be sent to request more information, for example. I do not see any "I'll take it" type posts above.
