    Attaching ridgeline to ENO ProFly?

I just purchased a "speed bag" from Jacks R Better. It has two draw strings on either end so that you can quickly stuff your tarp and be able to attach one end of it to a tree, pull the tarp out, and tie the other end to the 2nd tree anchor. The thought is to be able to do this quickly in a downpour and also to minimize your tarp from flopping around in windy conditions...

So, my question to you my expert hangers, is HOW can I permanently attach a structural ridgeline to my ENO Profly? It has tie-outs on both ends, but they dont run the length of the tarp (which is 10 feet). Am I making sense?

On my tarp, I use a prusik on the ridgeline, and attach my tarp to the prusik with a small s-biner. I suppose you could attach your tarp to the ridgeline in that fashion, and then just stuff the whole thing into your bag. That way when you go to set up your tarp, you would just have to tie up your ridgeline, and then slide the prusiks to adjust. Hope that helps. good luck.

Question... Does your tarp drape over your tarp's RL bc it looks as though it's hanging below the RL in your pic... Or did you just want to show me how your prusik is attaching with the s-biner to the tarp? OR, if it does in fact hang below the RL, can you explain why you do that?

    Thx, it's been awhile
