    Double Layer Weight Weenie

Had a customer order for a Weight Weenie Double Layer with a Knotty Mod. Basically, this means it's the heaviest Weight Weenie hammock we've ever made. Truthfully, weight aside, we loved the hammock.

Here's the kicker: It ended up at 1.08 pounds -- 17.28 oz -- and that's with channel cords and bag. The specs are:
    -- 11 feet long
    -- 62 inches wide
-- Double layer with a gathered head and foot slot (bungee attachment/knotty mod)
    -- 17.28 oz.

Left my camera at the office, but will share pics of the hammock on the scale tomorrow. My only regret (tncamper did the stitching... and outdid himself) is that I had to ship it out!

What would you say that the weight limit for this one would be?

I haven't broken a WW DL hammock... so this is PURELY conjecture (well, mostly conjecture based on testing of the model in a single layer and the results of that)...

I'd be comfortable recommending this to anyone up to 300. The DL adds reinforcement at the seams, with the fabric, etc. In other words, my only hedge on this at that weight would be making sure you had a good suspension system. If you do... should be good to 300.
