    Maxpedition bishop bag?

Well, actually, I repurposed a water bottle holder.

As I have been trying to put everything back together, I found this water bottle holder that, at one time was part of my edc. While evaluating if I still needed it, I had a flash of brilliance (may have been gas...the two are tough to separate)! The bottle holder has a grommet on the bottom! I bet my whoopie sling would fit through it!

Here is the water bottle holder in question, designed to fit a standard nalgene.

I then fit the end of the whoopie sling through.

The best part about using this for me, is that there is also a small pocket on the front, which is perfect for storing tree straps and toggles!

Everything fit nicely. It has webbing on the outside, so it can be attached easily to any bag with molle. I can also easily toss it into my edc daypack for hanging whenever I get the chance!

The only downside is that it is no lightweight as it is made out of 1000 denier cordura. BUT, I won't worry about my gear getting damaged.

    I love repurposed gear!

You make it look as if the designer had hammocks in mind all along!

This would be a great product for someone to offer in a lightweight version. No sap on your hammock, storage for toggles and straps, it's a no brainer.

    WOW... Great idea.

I have these on both my daypacks, use 'em all the time. Side pocket on mine holds fire/first aid

Too bad my ENO's bugnet takes up too much space or I'd cram it in there...
