Webbing? Don't know what wiping is.
I thought that is what the rope was called around the end of a gathered end hammock. Perhaps I have my lingo incorrect.
I think they ment to say whipping I looked for that info as well since I'm new to all this found most people just used what cordage they had already I'm gonna use my leftovers 1.8mm spiderline I hope that's ok I'm sure one of the vets will chime in at some point good luck with the whipping
You can use most anything that will hold a knot. I tend to use paracord sheathing cause a have a lot of spare paracord. Be sure to get something made of polyester, nylon, etc so it doesn't rot.
I have used paracord, tech line, amsteel, polyester draw cord...like the polyester draw cord the most....
Thank you for the correction.
I just have the itch to get something going, as I have nothing right now and would like to get something together A.S.A.P
I'm correcting the thread title, to avoid further confusion.
“I think that when the lies are all told and forgot the truth will be there yet. It dont move about from place to place and it dont change from time to time. You cant corrupt it any more than you can salt salt.” - Cormac McCarthy
