Ridgeline organizers are a good thing. I just ordered a new one from 2QZQ and a mesh peak bag too!

Another mod I've done to my hammock Flatline that you may like is I added a pocket on the side like on an ENO. It holds a drink!!

For those held back by shipping charges, not to mention expensive materials:
If there's a Harbor Freight near you --or for a single fixed shipping charge ----, you can get fiberglass rods, ten 39" segments of them with threaded ends. These can be cut and reworked.

Ultimate light? No. Brass fittings, not Al or Dutch Ti. Fiberglass rods, not CF.
Strong enough? Yes, for hammock netting, and for proof-of concept with small rainflys.

Price? $7 for 10 of them, though. Cheap enough to experiment with. And the set comes in a 2" diameter clear plastic tube with cap and bottom, a carrying case for your Tenkara rod, too.

Yes, known to work. I would not otherwise have suggested it. While we're pulling on strings, even the mass-market camping world has gone to bent tensioned rods for most tents. Here is a mini-tarp mini-tarp application.

But, I wrote carefully: "Proof of concept." For all that means. Let your own imagination raise breezes to wind to gusts to figure out how far you want to to. Sew rod pockets on an old sheet to get the hang of it.

    $6.99, not 10 times that.
