Dangerbird, the choice for my first hammock

After using MedicineMan's hammock gear for several months and being fortunate to have the opportunity to try several types of hammocks, I have zeroed in on my very first Poof-owned hammock!!! Thus, I actually have something to post…

I really like the double Warbonnet and was on the verge of buying one, then got to test his new Dangerbird from Papa Smurf’s Dream Hammocks. I was hooked!! His website is spot on…."If you want one hammock to use year-round, this is the one.” Very, very comfortable and easy to get asym, but also easy to roll on my side. It was a difficult choice. The built in overcover and bug net were the clinchers. I prefer nothing over the hammock when the weather and bugs permit, but how handy to have both of those items at arm’s reach!! I am next in Randy’s cue and very excited to see my first hammock and take it out! Now I need a tarp….

I almost forgot! Another cool thing…several colors to choose from. http://www.dream-hammock.com/

Congrats on the new set up! I just ordered a Dangerbird the other day (order number 34) and am excited to see how it compares to my WBBB 1.1 DL...

Yeah Randy is really easy to work with, give him a idea, let him run with it, im number 36, and looking forward to it. Worh the custom second look.

Good, versatile choice, Poof! I hope you can make it back to the Florida hang next year so I can see it.

Having made a number of full-featured hammocks for myself and friends, I can definitely say that PapaSmurf's hammock is a good deal. I hear great things about them...

    Congrats!

I love my DB...now the WBBB is just for spares when someone comes along. Thinking I might try to trade it for a right zip instead of a left zip, as most everybody likes to lay left to right and with my WB you have to lay right to left...which may be why I was never able to get comfortable in it.

The minute I laid in my DB it was an instant hit, and I have never been more comfortable since.
I miss my 4.8Lb base weight as a ground dweller...But I sure DON'T MISS the ground.
