    Coming to Utah?

This is an open invitation to anyone from the Hammock Forum.

If you're coming to Utah for any vacations, trips, etc. It'd be my pleasure to either hang with you and/or offer to play tour guide for a day or two or three.

Whether you are looking for high alpine or red rock desert, I live fairly central to the state and can be most anywhere within a few hours.

Me and my girlfriend and one other friend are traveling the country and will be passing through utah in the next couple of weeks. We should hang. We have 2 dogs with us as well. We have never spent time there before. It would be great to have a small group hang.

wetcatcarl: What part of the state are you heading to, and let me know when you're coming and we'll see if we can get together for at least a hang.

Glad to find a few more members in Utah. (met someone else in person last week, just came up in conversation) Someone with some extra time and ambition should organize a Utah hang this spring/summer. Always looking for some else to "hang" with.

Our hiking group will be taking on a 78 mile trail at high elevation near Salt Lake City this summer. I think the trailhead is a bit of a distance ENE of Salt Lake City. Some have made travel arrangements already but I'll be waiting for a flight out of Burbank or maybe drive with a buddy. The initial information was most of this trail is above timberline, which really got me down but maybe you know of this particular trail? I'd have to ask them about the name of it, however it seemed to be a well known yet sparsely traveled trail. They talk about an abundance of wildlife, great fishing and vistas but the above timberline thing was not good news.
Happy Trails to one and all.
Enjoy the outdoors wisely and elevate your perspective.

Gotta be in the High Uintas, absolutely beautiful! You wont be disappointed. Keep us up to date with more info as it comes along. Maybe we can talk you into staying below timberline.

We will go anywhere. We are not tied down to a single route. Someplace where we can have dogs would be ideal.
