I got my shipment notification today, significantly earlier than I was expecting. My original backorder notification told me to expect my tarp to arrive at Cabelas around 5/14. I will let you all know when it arrives and I have a chance to check it out.

Ah christmas.. Both tarps arrived!!! yeahooo...

hmmm. wonder if I should place a Grommet at the bottom of stuff sack? for faster deployment of it??

Just need to get some shock cord for the tie-outs.

Do folks run the ridge line under tarp, or Over top of tarp?. Worried of rubbing if Ran under the tarp?.

new to the modern Hang'ings.. and tarps.

Used the Noah 9X9 this weekend over my HHDJ and it worked great. A little rain on Friday night and I stayed nice and dry. Saturday it made great protection from the sun in porch mode, and let the breeze come on thru. I put snake skins on it, but may just convert the bag to a bishop bag.

My 9x9 arrived last thursday! Looks to be a great tarp with plenty of coverage. Now I will have to hit the fabric stores and get me a DIY put together before the weekend.

I love the coverage from my 9X9 and you can configure it in all kinds of ways.

Just unboxed my 12x12 and I was wondering do I need to seal this with a coat of silicone or is it ok for the weather as is? South Louisiana can get some torrential down pours.

Definitely NOT silicone seam seal. These are polyurethane coated tarps. Find the right seam sealer, for urethane, if any is needed. (McNett Tent Sure and McNett Seam Grip and COGHLAN'S 9695 Tent Seam Sealer are three sealants for urethane coated fabrics. )

I'd bet there is batch variation in water-proofness. You can find a published (rogue? mistaken?)response by Kelty to a "it leaks" claim that these are made for sun-shade.
