My hammock I lay.
No mosquitoes here.
What is hammocking? What is this longing in our hearts for swinging? Is it not the sweetest flower? Does not this flower of hammocking have the fragrant aroma of fine, fine diamonds? Does not the wind love the dirt? Is not hammocking not unlike the unlikely not it is unlikened to? Are you with your hammock tonight? Do not question your hammock. Take your hammock by the ridgeline. Release the power within yourself. Your heard me, release the power. Tame the wild cosmos with a whisper. Conquer heaven with one intimate caress. That's right don't be shy. Whip out everything you got and do it in the hammock.
By Leon Phelps (a hammock purist)
There once was a man from this nation,
Who wanted a restful vacation,
In woods he found glee
Hanging from a tree
So his tent became a donation.
There are very few problems we can solve ourselves, but there is almost nothing we cannot solve together.
Most often when someone says they can't, they are unwilling to try.
Two feet off the ground
Daybreak in the piney woods
Pot of hot coffee
