Where does my Gear Go!?!?!

the piece of tyvek (a construction dumpster find) that I carry is about 2'x4'. It's just big enough to lay on if I have to. Otherwise it's used under my hammock for backpack, shoes and a clean dry place to swing my feet to, when getting in and out of the hammock. I keep it on the outside of my backpack so when stopping for lunch, I can use it for a clean place to sit and eat. It's also large enough to cover my gear that's under me if I need to use it that way. When new it's very crinkly but as you use it, it gets softer and quiter.

I made storage end covers for my gathered end hammock.
They work great, but another easy way to store your gear is a gear hammock or just put your pack & shoes in a trash bag, on the ground next to your hammock. That works pretty good.

Hey, you given me an idea...I wonder if my Lazy Slug Tube would work as storage end covers!?! I'm gonna do some testing tomorrow!
