For what it's worth, a lot of passenger service was cut in Canada, too, and it's no longer possible to take a single train across the country from coast to coast.

Hi, the location was actually very close to the visitor centre. Just wait till it's dusk, find somewhere away from the paths and set up your gear. One tip, if you plan to go to the pub as I did, make sure you take the time to really remember where your hammock is. When it's dark you may find it hard to locate it, I did . I would suggest even marking the location on a GPS unit if you have one.
