WB Door kit on a Big Daddy???

Any one know if a WB door kit will fit on a WL Big Daddy tarp??

I use the WB BMJ doors on my OES Deluxe Spinn. I just use a couple of loops of shock cord on the tarp corners to attach the doors to since the sides of the OES tarp are a bit longer than the WB BMJ. I'd bet it could be done.

Still trying to figure out if WB tarp doors will fit on my WL Big Daddy tarp. My concern is that the doors might be too long from the ridge line tie out to the corner tie out. The Big Daddy is 5' from RL to corner tie out. If anyone knows what the door measures or the measurement of a WB bmj trap from RL tie out to corner tie I would greatly appriciate it. Thanks!

The MJ is 120" wide - half of that is 60"

Looking at the diagram on the Warbonnet site for the MJ, it should be 20.5" from where the side tie out is to the end point of the ridgeline. [(132"-91")/2]

If you use those measurements to form a right triangle, and solve for the diagonal side, that should make the distance from corner tie out to RL tie out around 63" (20.5)^2 + (60)^2 = X^2 where X is the distance you're looking for.

That's just based on the picture from the site. Actual measurements may vary - I don't own one, so don't take my feeble attempts at math and deduction as anything other then what it is.

You might also want to check with 2QZQ about making doors to specifically fit your BD tarp.

That is an option and I have thought about getting the sewn in doors just on one end.
