    Hi from NJ

I have been lurking here a while and picking up some great info. My son is a Scout and after having spent a few uncomfortable nights on the ground I started looking into hammocks and here I am. So far the hiking and hanging prospects in South Jersey don't seem that great but it looks like I have good places to go nearby. I'll probably be making some trips into PA over the summer.

Welcome from TN! I'm kinda in the same boat as you. I'm from west TN.(not the pretty side of the state) Although we do have some nice campgrounds around here, it's not like going to the Ozarks or Smokies.
    It'll be alright Friday!

Welcome from Alabama. You will love this site. I lurked for a while too before joining. I am impressed with all the nice hangers here and all of the information available. Glad to hear about your son being a scout. Enjoy all the time you can with him. They grow up too fast. Happy Hanging.

Welcome from the Jersey Shore! I've been doing a ton of hiking in the Pine Barrens - home of Batona Camp, the site of the annual NJ Winter Hang each January.

Kayak Karl - I see you added a special indicator on your Google map to commemorate where I always get lost hiking at night in the Pine Barrens. How thoughtful of you.

    Thanks!
