Reports here have been spotty. Clark's claim is hard to address because they have the hammocker in a 0 degree bag inside the hammock, along with the Z-liner below.

Whatever the merits of the 6 pads, I am repeating myself when casting doubt on the return-to-bulk-and-weight of the seventh one, for the legs and feet, which do need to be kept warm, but don't put out much heat. I'd rather keep them warm within a smaller volume inside the hammock and quilt or SB.

I have them, but if I had it to do over again I would go with a normal UQ. There are two advantages to the zliner

    1) you can install it ahead of time
    2) It is effectively convertible from a full UQ to a 3/4 or 1/2 by only using some of the pads.

    1) is pretty much offset by the fact that a regular UQ would pack down much smaller, and probably give you more temp rating for the same weight/size. and a UQ really only takes a few seconds to put up.

That being said, Im going out this weekend, and taking the zliner (minus the foot piece). Temps are expected to hit mid 30s at night, and I dont want to take the 0 degree UQ I have.
