Which HH do get?

I just bought the explorer zip on the HH website. It was right around what you are wanting to spend. I saw them cheaper on ebay, but they didn't come with the free snakeskins and tree huggers. I've read nothing but great things about the explorer, and for your size, I think it would be a perfectly acceptable way to go. (just my .02)

Thanks everyone for the great help. A new friend on HF offered a nice deal on a HH Exp UL. Just got it, now onto testing & tweeking.

LOL deerhntr! Glad for the fix. I just recently converted my dad to hanging, now I'm looking to get at Explorer deluxe... thanks for the encouraging word!

On the seriuos side, I'm looking at an Explorer as well. At my 186 cm I don't want to risk not getting a good enough sleep in an Expedition.
But counting grams (but not chasing) I tend to go towards the Explorer UL. Looks really good.
