    It's easy down to 50, then it takes a little more gear, like a BBO cover and extra down. Hat, gloves, socks....

    Haha! Yeah, BBO around freezing sounds right. In my mind 50 and above is a no-brainer, and then colder means I need a little more prep so I'll be comfortable.

    Born & raised on the high plains of northeastern Montana & southern Alberta, I've been away so long now I'm a wimp - I get cold easy. I'm also getting old.

    So my very first hammock hang was the 2nd Annual Florida Hang at Buck Lake. And if I remember correctly, it got down to around +28F. My hubby took good care of me, and I never did get cold while I was sleeping. I highly recommend it!
