    Doublenest excessive fabric?

Been loving my doublenest and hanging out in it but one annoyance I keep running into is excess fabric flapping onto my face.

    Example:

I have my hammock dialed in, nice 30* angle using my adjustable structural ridgeline set at ~98". I'm lying at a diagonal where I place my head and feet as close to the seam where it changes colors as I can but this bit of fabric always seems to flap over onto my face and my feet. Is there anything I can do about this or is it just something I'll have to live with. For reference I am about 5'6" tall so I'm also wondering if I'm just too short to properly stretch the hammock out.

Have you tried a knotty mod to help keep extra fabric under control?

You don't look very diaginal. Your outside shoulder should be up against the seam where they stitch the second color fabric.

And I thought it was just me. I always had to push my pad/pillow to the edge to keep it away. I'll definitely have to check out the knotty mod.

I'll give that a try next time I'm hanging

I cut mine off. I'm the same height as you and I'm most comfortable with my head a few inches from the seam. It may seam drastic but for me, it made the hammock the width I like. I don't regret it and did the same to another DN I had that I tried to use unmodded. I have read that a few others have done the same. Look into the knotty mod but if you have or know someone who has some sewing skills, it might work out for you.

Whenever I'd find extra fabric flopping in my face, I would just fold it in as extra support for my head. Worked well enough, but the knotty mod works even better.
