    First Night

My Hennessey was delivered Monday and even though it was forecast to be 40 last night I just couldn't resist hanging in the woods in front of our house. No UQ but use my CCF pad folded in half with my 20 degree bag. All in all I can't complain about the results. Once I realized the lashing were done right it was pretty easy to drift off to sleep. The low was actually 42 with a breeze and while by morning some cold spots were apparent this was easily the most restful night I've spent sleeping outside. Didn't really fuss much with the tarp since no rain was expected but think if I hang the tarp lower and snugger, used kind of a porch setup last night, that can only help.

Saturday night's forecast is for rain and low 50's so it'll probably be a good chance to rain test it.

Glad you enjoyed your first experience. I love mine and will never sleep on the ground again.
