I use an equinox armadillo pillow. Not the lightest (8.5oz) but oh so comfy!

I've been using my Platypus collapsible bottle as a pillow lately. I just fill it up 2/3s with air and throw it in a stuff sack and it's actually pretty comfy.

I use a small travel pillow I bought out of a $3 bin at WM. Under my knees. Nothing under my head.

I typically use a Sierra Designs pillow. It's synthetic, so moisture is not an issue. What I really like is the size and shape, which work perfectly for me. I just want a little neck support, and this is ideal. It also helps that it came free with a sleeping bag I bought a few years ago.

Sometimes I like to hike and think, And sometimes I just like to hike.

Hiking is'ent about waiting for the storm to pass its about learning to hike in the rain.

I have a Tempurpedic Neck Roll and a TempurPedic Travel Pillow. The both work for my poor neck. Clothes wadded up work almost as well, not quite but almost. TempurPedic rolls up really small, and it only takes a few minutes to regain its shape. I have a computer in my shoulder that needs a little extra support, that the TP pillow supplys.

Crazy Creek Sandman travel pillow, horse shoe shaped, 4.9 oz.

    I have been thinking I might try the Exped Air Pillow, L = 3.5 oz., M = 2.8 oz.

If on a long or steep hike and really wanting to trim oz. , stuff sack filled with clothes. Or better is a dry sack filled with clothing but with just a little extra air locked inside.

I was doing that for a while, but now I use a Nemo Fillo. Basically the a small air pillow with a half inch of memory foam. Air it up 50% and tie it to the ridgeline and you're good to go.

I have a HG pillow & it's lovely & warm for using when I go to sleep - but it compresses a wee bit too much for lounging about for me.

I have a wee cheapo inflatable pillow from Tesco that cost about £3 and it has the height I like for lounging but I don't like the plasticy feel of it for sleeping.

Tried a stuff sack with clothes in but it's kinda never quite right no matter what I do or how I pack it.

The search for the perfect pillow goes on but in the meantime the HG pillow is my go-to pillow coz it's warm & comfy - just wish I'd had it overstuffed for that height & firmness is all.
