    Another new hennessy owner`

I just ordered my new HH Expedition from Hennessy yesterday. Can't wait for it to get here. It came with free snakeskins and tree huggers. Hoping to do a test run this weekend. I did quite a bit of research before my purchase and I read nothing but good things about it, so I'm sure I'll be happy.

    Cool welcome

know you will enjoy the HH. I was first in my family to get one now wife and daughter are both HH converts. Most restful night sleep i've had camping.

Did you order the zip, or classic entry?

I am eyeing up either an Expedition or Backpacker UL myself
I solemnly swear that I am up to no good...

Welcome to life above ground! My first love was an HH Explorer UL, and that ( especially used with my HH Super Shelter) is still one of my all round favs! I will still never forget - after a one miserable 1st night in that hammock along with about 4 nights of severe altitude sickness- making the discovery. Of profound deep sleep for 8+ hours. In the Wilderness, above rocky, rooted sloping ground. And that last night- just starting to feel good, but then being blasted by high 40*F winds all night. Still slept toasty warm and deep, comfortable sleep. All in that original HH bottom entry, tiny tarp HH. ( It was still a few months after that before I discovered HF)
For I consider that the sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be compared with the glory that is to be revealed to us....that the creation itself also will be set free from its slavery to corruption into the freedom of the glory of the children of God. For we know that the whole creation groans and suffers the pains of childbirth together until now.

I got the zip. Was torn between the backpacker and the expedition, but I just couldn't see spending the extra $60 for 1/2 a pound. I'm pretty excited.

I got the bottom entry as well, but I'm going to send mine off to get the zipper mod so I can have the best of both worlds. Welcome to the club!
