I have the Osprey 46 and I have to say it's a great pack. Nice weight reduction over my previous Karrimor Bobcat and 10x more features.
Yukon got a link to the ULA... looking also for ligher...

thanks MAD777, the CDT looked god for no more than i take.
So Zappos just emailed me saying they are out of stock even though it said they had some left. Oh well, that's a blessing in disguise since it's $32 cheaper at backcountry.com! I'll just have to wait a few days...I'm in no rush, just impatient.
I hope I measured my torso correctly, no free return shipping this route.
I have the Exos 46 in long frame so it has a little more room than the regular frame. I came down off a heavy TNF Snow Leopard II I have been hiking with since 1993. It is pictured in my avatar to the left of my friend's Gregory pack (similar to the newer Gregory Palisades). The Exos, on my scale is 46 oz. The mesh back feels great under my legs in the hammock when going with a short pad (still waiting for my UQ). I didn't know about the ULA packs prior to purchasing my Osprey, but they deserve a serious look too.
