I'd be worried about a prank or two but other than that it looks great.
Sweet setup. What yr is the red engine? Looks like it still has wooden ladders. Love the old ones. Probably has a real federal on it Those things take for ever to wind down, unless they have the brake.
Ya' wont have to slide down the pole if there is a fire)))))
Cool.
Shug
Whooooo Buddy)))) All Secure in Sector Seven
Now that's the way to do it!!!
Until there is a fire call.......
Where ever you go,
There you are.
As a fellow fireman, I approve this message. Haha gotta try this next shift. Stay safe.
Somebody else asked, based on the body style the Red engine has to be a 48 0r 49-54. My first vehicle was a 50 1/2 ton and I want another one!
Your introduction of hammocking into the firehouse might well end up like it did on the old English ships, with pretty much everyone going to sleeping in a hammock! You could be a real trendsetter!
The old red Chevy is a mostly restored 1949. It was my city's first new pumper. It has the original 6 cyl, 4speed with no power brakes. Not a lot of fun to drive!
Being only the second time to sleep in my new HH,(thanks profotoiam) I got up at 2 am to go on a call, and I was lost inside the **** hammock! Could not find the Velcro! Can wait to get the 2QZQ mod. We had the windows open in the bay last night, and it got down in the 40's, and I quickly realized I need to expedite making my UQ...After I got back from my 2am call, I had to plug in my electric blanket and use it for an underpad, works great by the way, but not to practical in the camping world!
Thanks to all the info on this forum, I am making my own UQ. Ordered the 16$ 30degree sleeping bag on sale at Sportsman's Guide. I'm gonna sweet talk the wife into teaching me how to use her sewing machine.

Hope your 2 a.m. call was not of a serious note. I always hated getting out of the rack between 1-4, after 4, it was all good
