    WTB: Used Underquilt

I'm looking to upgrade from the pad to an underquilt in my setup and being the poor college student that I am, I'm looking to get the most bang for my buck

Ideally, I would like a full length 30-20 degree quilt. My thought is that I will use it for winter camping in 30 degree weather and vent it for spring/fall camping.

    Whatcha got?

Jarbridge is on sale right now for $100 new. Not used and not down, but still pretty good deal on an UQ, I'd say.

Wow! That's a great price. I wasn't necessarily looking for a 3/4 length quilt, but for that price I might go for it.

I guess I'll sleep on it and see if anyone has any offers by morning.

    Thanks Vissarian.

It's six months before what passes for winter returns to Florida.
One less Big Mac Meal per week between now and November......will take the quality of the down fill in your UQ far beyond the 600FP stuff I could finally afford to sleep under indoors at 40. That's years old, not degrees F.

Seriously? Make your own. Sew a nylon sack of Wally World polyester or ripstop nylon, all but a couple of feet of an ugly surround seam hidden inside. Fill it with one or two batts of Climashield. Sew on tabs for 1/8" shock cord. Done for <$40.

All snarkiness aside, lots of folks do end up learning to make their own gear to save money. Synthetic quilts are a little bit less expensive, as well. Good luck with your search!

While DIY is appealing, I don't have the time or the sewing machine for it. Just ordered the Jarbridge from Arrowhead equipment and went ahead and picked up a ARL while i was at it!

You want be disappointed with the gear from Paul and Arrowhead Equipment. I have several of his KAQ UQ's and have made two full length UQ's from the kits he used to sell.

We have a large piece of furniture in our living room that's completely down filled...... It's days are numbered lol. Besides my wife would love any excuse for new furniture .
