You could try Mountain Equipment Co-Op (www.mec.ca). They have stores across Canada and will ship.
Have you tried contacting Gossamer gear to see if they can ship to Canada via a phone order?
Cheers

Try Canadian Tire. The thin grey foam mat Escort Closed Cell Foam Mat (#76-2521-8) is very flexible and soft. I think it was around $11 or $12 a roll.
71" long x 20" wide and .3" thick = 180 cm long x 51 wide x .76 cm thick.
I bought two and cut one in half lengthwise and duct taped the pieces loosely to each side of the other pad to make it wider, and to hinge upwards cradling me, then trimmed here and there, and made darts, and came up with a kind of el-cheapo SPE. In combination with my summer UQ I got down to about 5* C comfortably on the supermoon weekend a couple of weeks ago, and probably could push it more, but it's been really warm lately, so haven't been able to try. Anyway, it's soft and non-binding.
The yellow MEC evazote looks nice, too, with a lot more choices of thickness, but the price was right for for this stuff.
I noticed that Gossamer Gear won't ship foam internationally.
Try Oware ( owareusa.com ). From the descriptions I've read their pads are nearly identical to Gossamer's and it's an Oware pad I've always used. They stock the wonderfully (and approriately, IMO) wide 40-inchers.
I just visited the site...I didn't find any comments about shipping to Canada but their pad prices seemed cheaper than the last time I looked...

If you're near Hamilton, Guelph, Waterloo area check out Len's Mill. They often have a pile of closed cell foams varying in widths, densities and thicknesses from 1/16" thick and up. Each store stock varies a bit, so you might want to call ahead and ask. It looks like rolls of sound proofing or thermal flooring underlay. They had some for $1.99 a yard, and around 50 inches wide.
