Family Trip to Red River Gorge

I'm looking for a place in Red River Gorge Kentucky to take my family.
3 hangers (Me + 2 newbs) plus a tent (wife) and a toddler. I'll have a lot of work to do at camp so I'm looking for an easy hike in, some cool scenery, and I'd prefer a place that limited the chance my toddler son, or anyone else for that matter, could fall to their deaths.
It will be a 2 niter over Memorial day.
    Any suggestions?

I like to use alltrails.com for finding great trails in any specific area. Here's what they have listed for the Slade, KY area, you can tweak the results with the options on the right side to find easier trails that would be best for your situation.

    Happy hiking!

I know it isn't a suggestion about a hanging site (though it could be), but Miguel's Pizza! It can make for a fun little treat on the way in or out!

BTW, my wife and I are jealous!

Tonka and I recently went there after a really rough five day. It was beyond amazing.

But it kinda stinks that the pull the "Climbers only" card. and I have absolutely no interest in climbing.

You can find all sorts of information about the red river gorge and the natural bridge state park at http://www.TheRedRiverGorge.com they also have maps of the hiking trails on the site. If you are interested in the zip line, hiking, camping or climbing... You'll have a blast at the Gorge.

I know BosaiHiker has done a lot of hiking there with his kids. You might want to pm him - I'm sure he could help. I think there are a couple good sites near double arch (I haven't camped there but BH has.) Its a nice area, but maybe too far in. There are many walk in sites along tunnel ridge road. From there you might day hike to Gray's arch or out along Auxier ridge (with a good grip on the toddler.)

It will be busy that weekend - you might need to have back-up sites.
