    The envy of the campground

This is me enjoying "brrreakfast from the hammock" at a recent Boy Scout campout. Thanks to Shug and all the gang at Hammock Forums for showing me a better way to camp. It was awesome waking up and having breakfast in bed while cradled in comfort. I can't say enough about NOT having back pain from sleeping on the ground.

Looking good! I'm envious just looking at the photo from my desk!

I have not yet cooked from my hammock. But I have a question. Is that your WBBB 1.1 dbl in the photo? Where is the net? Sure looks like you are cozy there.

District Camporee this past weekend. Cars banned from the campsites (trailers could be dropped off only). For me, it was two nights of hanging bliss! Rainy all day Saturday and into the evening. Everyone knows the Scoutmaster stays dry in his hammock. 540 Scouts, 26 Troops and 54 Patrols. Only 2 hammocks. My troop made me proud with Top Troop!

You have a keen eye my friend. Yes that is the 1.1 dbl BB. The bug netting is pulled back and tied off to the right side. Brandon has made a fine product.

Our campout took place at one of the ASM's property. He let us cut down some trees to do pioneering projects. I too am not a big fan of camping next to the cars, thus the view from my "porch mode" set-up overlooked the field where the Scouts were camping.

Great looking pic! Seeing that really makes me look forward to my first backpacking trip as a hanger in a couple of weeks.

Conclave is this weekend in Va. estimated 800 people registered. I'd like to see how many hangers are going to be there?
