Talking If this doesn't convince you that hammock are great for sleeping, nothing will!

So, to prove the point that hammocks are great for sleeping no matter who you are, my 2 year old daughter insists on going in my hammock every time she sees it! Not only that, but she insists that she is in it alone! She only wants "me" (pointing at herself) in it and then proudly claims "asleep!", rolls over and puts her head down. Now if only I could convince her mom about the benefits of hammocks...

Sorry about the audio, it was windy and not a very good camera....

What a cute kid. I'm sure it won't be a problem to get her hanging in the woods with you when she gets a little older.

I cant wait to show this vid. to my wife, shes going to love it. We don't have kids yet but I always talk about how in the future once we do I'm already excited about taking little one's hanging with me. Very cute daughter, ya got a future woodswomen on your hands better start protecting your gear now or saving up to buy her her own. Good to teach her right from the start. And this way in a hammock "mom" cant complain that shes rolling around in the dirt at night. Thanks for sharing.
Sometimes I like to hike and think, And sometimes I just like to hike.

Hiking is'ent about waiting for the storm to pass its about learning to hike in the rain.

Yeah, she is a real crack up when it comes to the hammock! Mom just doesn't like the idea of a hammock...or a tent for that matter, she prefers a camper...

Sometimes, other times I can't wait until she is bigger and can come hiking with me.

You are going to love it when you have kids...most of the time. They are a lot of work and very irritating at times, but well worth the effort! I can't imagine life without her.
