You get what you pay for. Clark makes a great hammock, and those that have them and use them, love them. I think what most people get hung up on is the cost, and if that is your major concern, then don't buy a Clark. Heck, you can make a pretty comfortable hammock for pretty cheap if you want. But I have a Clark NA, and it was the best money that I ever spent on hammock gear (2nd was the Amsteel blue group buy, 3rd was the DD group buy.) I swallowed hard, hit the "Submit Order" button, and have never, ever regretted the purchase.
Don't they have a return policy?
Yeah, full refund of purchase price minus 7% restocking fee if notified within 30 days of purchase. So that'd be a loss of ~$25.00 + $10.00 to ship it back to them plus the price it cost them to ship it to me originally. So I'd be out roughly $50 or so if it didn't work. Still a lot of money for me in todays economy.
Maybe you'll get a chance to try one out at a group hang out some time.
It does make me curious, though. Just like several other brands of hammocks(JRB, Claytor, HH, Speer and others), these Clark's seem to have a few folks who have tried several brands but are convinced the Clarks are the best.

I think I may step up and try an NX-200 but not until September at the earliest. My August paycheck is going to fund two custom quilts I have a more immediate need for. I also have a loaner DD Travel Hammock on the way to try out. In the meantime, my Trek-Light Double IS big enough.
Thanks man.
