Ground setup??

I own a HH and was wondering how easy it is to set them up on the ground? What should I use as a tarp underneath the hammock? I don't plan on ever having to use it on the ground but I thought it would be a good idea to know how to set it up when there is a lack of trees.

I used my space blanket which I had for my Super Shelter as a ground cloth. Though actually I was not even using the hammock, saw no need for it as there were no bugs. We just pitched my hammock hanging friend's larger tarp and both slept under that.
