    What he said, sans thermometer.

Oh yeah, a piece of spectra about 8' long with spliced eyes on both ends and a couple soft shackles/ nacrabiners. They stay permanently with the hammock in case I ever need to lengthen anything. Some of the trees on the Chatooga are HUGE.

I have a ridge line organizer that doesn't have to organize much.

Since I'm still on my own property, only a head lamp and my shoes, which I push outside. Once I hung a fleece blanket at the end of the hammock on the ridgeline so I could reach it if I needed it.

My pocket knife, iPhone (when it's not too cold to kill the battery), head lamp, wallet). That's about it usually.

wallet, keys, light, phone, socks, shoes....I think that's it for now.

putting the toilet paper there might be worth looking into

That is a very cool idea.

Itty, bitty, mini disco light Party at my hammock! I actually really do have.

I have my DIY organizer that holds a book, meds, knife, face wipes, chap stick, phone, toilet paper. I larkshead my headlight to it. At the head end I have a DIY gear sack that holds my sleep socks, bandanna, and pillow. If its cold it has added a hat, gloves, and down booties, and hand warmers.

I'm obviously not an ultra lite....but I'm actually doing better

Headlamp gets looped over and pulled through like a prussic on the ridgeline. Glasses gets one arm hung over the ridgeline as well. Phone goes into the organizer, along with wallet/keys/knife if I happen to have them on me rather than in my pack.

Oh...and I picked up an O2 battery opereated fan that I plan on hanging off the foot of my ridgeline for summer camping.

I have a WBBB so most of my freight is stored on the shelf. That said, I keep a small light on the ridgeline. Sometimes I'll keep a bottle on the ridgeline.
