    New Gear Storage

I moved in to a new house last weekend, and my first priority (almost) was updating my gear storage. *I've got a great storage room in the basement that I turned one wall of into a proper storage area using some modular shelving units.

Oh yeah, the shelves were a brand called "ClosetMaid" and I got them at Home Depot. They're not perfect, and the first time I accidentally pull down the entire sleeping bag rack I'll probably curse them, but they are pretty nice.

You can't even see how big the room is from these photos, but let's just say when I buy a few kayaks I might come close to filling half of it.

    Well done!
This is just a reminder of how unbelievably disorganized I am. My wife shakes her head every time we plan a trip, she knows its just a matter of time before the gear 'bomb' goes off.
