I have some o the old group buy digital camp "1.1" that I once read was incorrect and it's actually 1.0. I do know it feels thinner than 1.1 and is uncoated. Pm me if interested.

I saw a recent post where buttinasling uses some 1.1 oz, that by their calculations, actually comes in at 1.0 or .9 oz.

thats what got me thinking about it, was kind of thinking of another diy if i dont go that route.

i have thought of that as well, but i would be slightly concerned of the longevity of the material at 175ish lbs.

I appreciate all the replies, keep them coming. i am not a concerned gram weenie, but yesterday i measeured my diy wondering how long it was and realized i was sleeping in a small hammock. being used to the size of a little over 9ft, i could probably get away with it; but now that i am fulltiming (about a week now) i want something thats a little longer and more of an industry standard. in other words i am going for comfort, and like the strechiness of a thinner hammock body. Thanks again.
