Hangin in Ohio State Parks

Seems like I see a thread every now and then about a hangout at a state park, but I thought I'd check and make sure the park system doesn't have a problem with hammocks. I do remember being told to remove my hammock at one point years and years ago, but:

Hammock camping wasn't on anyone's radar back then.
I wasn't camping, we were just having a picnic and I strung up a mesh hammock.
There were no tree straps (nor had I ever heard of them)

So now I'm planning a bike trip, and I have some overnights planned at Portage Lakes and Mosquito lake. I would hate to get there and find that I can't hang, and I may be able to plan for other stopping places if I know ahead of time that hammocks aren't allowed.

Haven't had so much as a comment about our hammocks from the park service staff on any of my outings. I think you'll be fine in Ohio.

yeah we had the ranger come down to our site this past weekend at mohican and he didn't say anything. there were four setups in plain sight. we get together regularly at zaleski too and no negative comments from their rangers.
