Permethrin... Is it as good as they say?

Found some spray.. Called Pre-strike Yard & Garden spray, 1 Qt $19.99 at local farm store.
Has 2.5% Permerthrin & 97.5% Inert??? mystery stuff. But its made to hook up to a Garden hose & spray on the lawn. Guessing its concentrate & has no Petro, Due to the spraying on the ground.

5 to 1 that is What 3 oz to 1 gallon water??. roughly.

Did find horse spray, but has Petro inside mix.

If I did my math right you need to put 25.6 oz and fill to 1 gal to get 0.5% solution.

I picked up 32 oz of the Bonide spray which is water based for $6 from Fleet Farm the other day. We'll see how well it works over the next couple days.

I use Perm on all of my hiking clothing and hammocks. It keeps the mossies from biting me through the under side of the hammock. The only bug I have not seen it work on is these d#$n stink bugs. You can spray the stuff straight on them and I would swear they stop and takBTWe a drink out of the Perm puddle they were walking through before continuing.....

BTW: if you get "10% Permethrin" from a place like Southern States:
Common mixing dilutions are as follows:
0.25% solution - 2-2/3 ounces Permethrin in 1 gallon water.
0.50% solution - 5-1/2 ounces Permethrin in 1 gallon water.

Well, visited local grocery store.. they had garden stuff.. Found this on the top shelf.

TOTAL Kill.. 2.5% Permethrin 32 oz bottle. $4.99.. Sweet!!! price.

2.5% At 32 oz bottle. from above post 25.6 Oz per Gallon water = 00.5%

would be good for soaking Gators in, with stronger mix.

Bottle say's to spray on fruit. 1 oz to one gallon of water.
