Well, now my lovely wife tells me I got my weekends mixed up. Grass arrives the NEXT weekend, not this weekend. However, we might bring our youngest (no trail name, but a couple hundred miles on the AT) and our Panamanian "exchange student" daughter. They both went to the Reelfoot Lake hang with us and enjoyed it. They'd use a tent.
Anybody got two kayaks or a canoe they could use to get to/from the island?
No matter if they come or not, count me and Stitch in for Friday night (dinner) and Saturday morning (breakfast) if that's all right. Let us know what we should bring to contribute.
Stitch is looking forward to trying out her brand new "Butt In A Sling" bug net.

Okay, now I have a count of 5 for sure, with a possible 7. I will cook about 2.3 lbs of Venison for the Sloppy Joes. Neo, I don't remember how many ate it at the Meriwether Lewis hang, so if you think I need more let me know. Thought I ought to let everyone know that it is Venison. Rain Man if you want to bring buns, that would be okay, or if you want to bring something else let me know so I can bring buns. I always like fresh vegetables to go with it.
I'm currently planning to stay for two nights so I'm limited in what I can bring as I will probably have two coolers. I pack in a lot of water. Looking forward to this paddle. I don't know where Hole in the Wall is but I think it would be fun to paddle to it during daylight hours.
Mary Ellen, IF our two girls do come, one is a vegetarian, so don't count her for the sloppy joes. We'll let her take care of herself, but might be nice to know what vegetables you intend to bring? I'll bring buns as you suggested.
Anyway, will confirm our party no later than Thursday, if that's okay. Stitch would eat one sloppy joe, as would Juana. I might eat two.
I also would like to see Hole in the Wall. Have seen photos, but have yet to paddle to it.
I (and only me from my family) may or may not stay/come back for Saturday night. Will have to let y'all know later (maybe not til Saturday).
