Just ordered a Snipe and bug net from Wilderness Logics, from the reviews looks like it should be pretty comfortable. Guess i'll find out soon enough. I have an 8 x 10 tarp not sure if that will work out.

You should be fine, the tarp my fit like a glove over it but it should be enough to keep you dry.
Been eyeing that Snipe. Let us know how it is.

You'll love it! My favorite hammock so far. As far as your tarp, if you run the Snipe with about a 108" ridgeline or longer, you may want to consider a larger tarp depending on how your 8x10 is cut. Maybe a set of Grizzbeaks could extend your coverage without needing to get a different tarp. Without beaks or doors I think the Snipe is perfect with a tarp that has a length of 130".

I'll most likely order the Tadpole tarp, after i check everything out.I like how compact it is and the weight.
Set your RL to 108 to 110" and jump in it and enjoy,,its all you have to do as its sooooo comfy,,you will love it. Easiest hammock and most comfortable I have ever laid in out the 5 i went thru to find the perfect hammock,,and have been sleeping in it now last 5 months almost every nite in the house as well as outside, and camping a couple of times so far.
